 Nestled in the rich sugar cane country between the

Beach, a 1
hour scenic coastal drive from Cairns International Airport.
Boonooloo is situated on absolute beach front, one
of only a dozen properties on Newell Beach. Step down onto the white
sands that envelope the Coral Sea, overlooking Port Douglas, Low Isles
and Snapper Island National Park.

arrival.
What to do
 Enjoy a short drive North to the World Heritage
Daintree Rainforest or only 10 minutes south explore the Mossman
Gorge. If golf is for you then experience the friendly atmosphere of
the Mosman 18 hole Golf course - a 2 minute drive away.
Just down the road is Scommazons’ local produce
with an abundance of tropical fruits and the local township of Mossman
has some tantalizing cheap eats ……no tipping, no waiting, just
good old fashion country service. You can pick up your daily
supplies from the Newell Beach store, try the fish & chips or just
wander down for an ice cream or the daily newspaper. You
will feel like you have lived here forever.
Capture the essence of local life with a visit to
the Port Douglas markets every Sunday and the simplicity of the Mosman
markets with local produce a highlight every Saturday morning.
Of course a 20 min Drive into Port Douglas is a
certainly a vacation must. This cosmopolitan village has an array of
fine dining cuisine and casual eateries. The Marina Mirage is perfect
for breakfast on the boardwalk and a meander through boutique stores.
And in the main street there’s an abundance of shops to keep you
occupied for hours searching for fashion, souvenirs or local art.
 The Great Barrier Reef is the ultimate reef
experience. Snorkel or dive the Low Isles or Outer Reef… or
simply take in the experience. If you’re into keeping fit take a jog along Newell
Beach or paddle the distance in the sea kayaks (life jackets provided)
or just laze the day away swimming, reading or swinging in the
hammocks. You can even fish out front right off the beach - lines are
provided on request.
If you don’t feel like moving too far a field ,
stock up on supplies and take in this tropical, secluded lifestyle.
The pool area is addictive and has been specially designed with safety
in mind, you can relax on the deck with the children in
full view.
